It's now been two months since we returned to Florida to move into our "East Coast Home".
During that time Paul has worked almost daily on getting the interior remodeling complete, and it's about 99% there as the New Year begins. I'm always amazed at what he does and how quickly he can transform a space. This motorhome is no exception. I've added a couple of the before photos along with the changes in our design.
So, come inside and take a look....
Our bedroom is at the rear of the motorhome. It had mirrored closet doors and oak cabinets. Everything is now white with new accents, even the mirror doors were painted white, walls were painted a taupe color. Gone are the blue floral prints and blue wallpaper.

My Mom's painting of "Stone Pigeon" was brought cross country with us in the car and now hangs in this room.
There had been a small TV in the upper corner of the bedroom. After we pulled out the TV, Paul created a wonderful laundry storage area by putting together two smaller doors we weren't using and hanging it as one piece. It's so easy now to toss the dirty laundry inside and shut the door.
Hallway:
This alcove in the hallway had clear glass etched doors now painted white for a more updated look. Easy fix, just using paint. Originally we thought we'd tear out this whole area, but it's become great storage and so functional. We removed the door in the hallway to open up the area.
Since I have such little counter space near the kitchen sink and no where to put our coffee pot, this was a perfect spot and has become our new Coffee Bar. .

We switched out the bench seating for a pub table with 2 chairs I found on Craig's List, and bought a new sofa to replace the blue floral. We also had the carpet redone in beige and installed wood floors throughout, no more linoleum. This time we added dark wood blinds rather than shades giving us lots of light during the day and privacy at night.
The kitchen has a 3 burner stove, oven and microwave and all are in great condition they seem hardly used at all so there was nothing needing to be replaced. Just lots of painting....

All cabinets were painted white, the drawer handles were painted silver from the original brassy gold. Back splash is now tiled and we installed a new faucet. Simple changes but really makes it feel fresh and new! Paul even painted the refrigerator door to match the rest of the interior and added a new wall mirror and the wood floors.Another before photo:
