After almost 4 months in the Tampa Bay area off and on, we finally said Good Bye to our Bay Bayou RV Resort and started journeying east. We're staying just one might here at Hillsborough River State Park, site 27.
We rode the bikes over to see nearby Fort Foster built in the 1830's during the Seminole Wars.
Now a short walk to the rapids on the Hillsborough River, very mild, but peaceful and pretty. It feels wonderful to be back in a state park again. I didn't realize how much I missed it all.
